Grade 2 London, Walton-On-Thames
The first Grade 2 of the year, and hosted by Harlington Hawks in a lovely new venue in leafy Surrey. We took 4 members, for Clara Williams it was her first Grade 2.
Clara Williams
A reasonable start to her Grade 2 career. Clara mucked up her last move in the set, unusually, as it is normally very sound, and was unluckily considered to have repeated a move in the second.
Charlotte Wilkinson
An excellent start to 2007, and Charlotte was unlucky not to get into the Final 8. She gained the Retain Score and more importantly qualified for the Grade 2 Nationals.
Charley O'Dell
Charley jumped high and consistently through both round one and two and produced two very respectable routines.
Julie Gooderick
Despite a small mistake that brought the Set routine unexpectedly to a conclusion, Julie shrugged this off, and showed us a very strong Voluntary. We are all looking forward to her next competition.

Grade 3- 5 East, Hitchin, Hitchin Boys School
We went with nine of twelve we entered for this first competition of the season, hosted by Richard's T.C. always a friendly club to visit. We came away with a fistfull of trophies, personal bests, and qualifications.
Martin Bithell
Martins first comp out for MOA and he started our day off in style. Martin displayed the same good quality routine on round one and round two to take the gold by 5.9 points. Martin will introduce an increase in tariff for his round two routine in April, to help reach his target of qualification into grade 3.
Helen Bangs
Helen completed two excellent routines, and performed her routines with good height while demonstrating the excellent control she has been working toward in training and came 10th in a strong group. This was to be Helens last competition with MOA and she will now be concentrating on her A level studies. Helen was a credit to us on the day and we wish her all the best and are thoroughly proud of her.
Andy King
Andy jumped high and consistently through both Round one and two and gained sufficient form scores to make qualification possible with an increase round two tariff in April. Andy performed a strong round three routine to bring home a silver.
Sarah Turner + Luke Driver
Last competitors of the day and they kept up the high standard that had gone before. Both athletes were using the same routines for round one and round two. On the first round Luke gained the first 8 given by this panel all day with a large cheer from judges and audience. And to keep the level high on round two Sarah added another two 8's to the collection. Both Sarah and Luke won their groups and qualified to Grade 3. They will now be training their increased tariff routines in preparation for April.

Charlotte Walters
Our first competition for Charlotte. Despite a small mistake that brought the Set routine unexpectedly to a conclusion, Charlotte shrugged this off, and repeated the same routine for her Voluntary, and it looked absolutely great!! We are all looking forward to her next competition.
Sophie Bown
Sophie moved up to Grade 4, and looked completely at home at this level. Great routines took her to 7th place in a very strong group. She's ready now to introduce higher tariff into her Voluntary routine.
Anne-Marie Cheung
Joining us from the London Region, Anne-Marie is a very experienced competitor, and it showed. She completed two great routines, and got into the finals, and in contention for the medals. A slight mishapp dropped her to 5th place
Tabitha Maddison
As always, Tabitha loved the experience, her greatest fun and excitement comes from competing. She performed two delightful routines, and came 10th in a very strong group.
