Grades 4 & 3 Harlow   Second Club Outing - B.G. Graded, Grade 4.
Well done Emma - Silver, a great start.
Well done Paul - Bronze - 2nd trophy in two outings - & Personal Best (PB) over 2 rounds.
Lauren qualified for Grade 3 at her first graded competition, a fantastic result!!! - also PB over 2 rounds & increased her Club tariff record - using a Ball-Out Barani (Tucked), a 0.6 tariff move.
Grace & Jenny made the final round of their competitions - but it wasn't their day. Better luck next time.

St Crispins Synchro, Wokingham   Third Club outing. Synchronised is something different!!
Everybody had a great time, and nobody got drunk in the pub afterwards! (Hannah & Leah, you missed a blast)
Graham & Jason (an old friend from Apex T.C.) came 4th, they normally win, but this year changed plan and practiced before the competition!
although we had a few slip-ups, most made the finals - Unfortunately with Vicky Quinn temporarily injured, Julie was paired at the last minute with a youngster from Nova Ealing T.C. - well done Julie! (and hurry back soon Vicky)
Technical stuff - Heather tried one legged trampolining - sadly this doesn't impress judges. Stupid of Terry & Graham not to have explained this rule.

Colchester Open   Fourth Club outing. Great turn out, but what a dreadful drive home!!
Outstanding performances by Rachael who improved her PB for form over 2 rounds - and won!
Katharine - her first Gold Medal in U18F Grade 6, and takes the Club style/form record over 2 rounds to a new high, scoring 50.6 out of a maximum 60.0. This fantastic result gained her a special prize from the competition - Top Form marks throughout the morning session - all age groups, all grades!!!!
Kathryn came in second in U18F Grade 6, another well deserved result, with Nicola close behind after a nervous start.
Katharine, Kathryn and Nicola also claimed 1st place team in the same event.
Our newcomers got off to a great start. Laura's set was fantastic, and the judges had all decided she was the likely winner - 'till inexperience struck, in the form of an extra move. Danielle got off to a shaky start, and then improved well for the next round. Watch out for these two girls next time out!
Paul, Grace and Emma from our Grade 4 and Grade 3 squad decided to have a collective nightmare. Best forgotten.
Julie wiped out on her first attempt at a higher difficulty Set. However had the grit to stick with it for the next two rounds and improved well. Victoria and Sara also struggled at the start of their new sets, but then got the hang of it as well.
Despite great style for the rest of the routines poor Kayleigh just couldn't get the somersault together when it counted, better luck next time.
Natalie showed glimpses of her obvious talent, but got beaten by her own adrenalin. Here's a star to watch out for.
Thank you Jenny for coming to the competition to help & support - great job!!. This shows excellent team spirit, and is appreciated.

Divisional Schools (East) Southend   representing their School. It's a three round competition. First three from each group in our Division (East) go to a Zonal competition joined by the qualifiers from Midlands and Wales. First three from the Zonal round go through to the National Schools Championships.
Well done Hannah, fantastic result. 3rd place, and off to the Zonal Round in Wales on 27th January, 2001.
Really hard luck Alison. A truly elegant first routine put her into 1st place, then a single mistake in the second round dashed her hopes of joining Hannah in Wales.

Queensmead Invite   We met some stiff opposition and some harsh marking, however the overall results were successful, even if we didn't come away with many trophies at this competition.
Your Personal Best [PB] (total mark over two rounds, including tariff) is a critical measure of individual performance. And this always forms the basis of promotion through to the higher grades of trampoline competition. So - well done to Kayleigh Ashby, Jade Smart, Fraser McPherson, Natalie Brady, Julie Gooderick & Jenny Harrison. All of whom raised their individual PB - Guess somebody is doing something right!!!
Well done to our 'First Timers' Anna Bicknell, Emma Nicholson, Nicola Wilson & Lucy Dyson. The first Competition is the most frightening girls. It gets more and more fun from here on. You all completed your routines, and got great marks for your first event.

HollyHolly Xmas Synchro, Grundy Park, Cheshunt   Congratulations to all at our sixth Club outing.   What a great party (and thanks to Peter Gledhill and fellow organisers) !!!

Most of our performances were in line with the great progress everyone is making, however the only medals came from 3rd place Team in Under 18s, but not surprising as there were many Grade 1, 2, & 3s entered (everyone there to party!!).
Well done to our 'First Timers' Hannah Ward, Hannah Barker, Helen Mann, Virginia Oliver & Charlie Oliver.
Best overall performance came from our 'old professionals' Jenny Harrison & Katherine Arnold (I can call them this - I've seen their Fancy Dress outfits). Best newcomers were Hannah Barker & Helen Mann. Great start!
