BTF Proficiency Scheme - Obsolete

Prior to 2000, the British Trampoline Federation (B.T.F.) had a Proficiency Awards Scheme.
The award scheme was very popular and survived almost unaltered for about 15 years.   Around 1998 a series of very basic Awards (1 - 5) was added to accommodate the specific requirements of the younger elements, and the follow-on Awards were modified slightly and renamed (6 - 10), with Award 10 being roughly equivalent to the prior Elementary Silver.

The scheme had a series of Proficiency Awards, each based on accomplishment of specific routines & moves or linked moves. Starting with the most basic of skills, and developed through to linked complex multi-twisting double somersaults.
Succesful fulfillment of each Award required specific mandatory skills, and a Routine which had to be assessed at an acceptable Form score.
The more advanced awards had a choice of Routines and some choice from prescribed skills.
